The mine
At the mine, our objective is to maintain a supply of quality iron ore for the in-pit crushers using methods that are efficient, responsible and sustainable. We leverage close coordination between our engineering, maintenance and operations teams to optimize our extraction methods daily and maximize safety.

Mining plants
Our plants are where iron ore is turned into a high-purity iron concentrate. Here, each piece of equipment and each process are optimized to ensure production is safe, sustainable and efficient. Our teams work in a spirit of continuous improvement to constantly perfect our methods.

Mine maintenance
At the heart of our mining operations is our mine maintenance team, which plays a vital role in maintaining and repairing our large fleet of light and heavy equipment. Each machine is closely monitored to guarantee its reliability and maximize its performance. Our mechanics, welders, technicians and electrical technicians leverage their know-how to ensure the availability of equipment and maintain the flow of production.

Mine waste and water management
Every day, our experts oversee the proper functioning of the infrastructures that enable us to manage our tailings and reuse and recycle wastewater on the mine site while upholding the highest industry standards. Through continual monitoring and by continuously improving our procedures, the mine waste and water management team performs work that’s critical to the environmental conservation and sustainability of our mine site.
