Thirty children head to the North Pole thanks to a special flight
With the excitement that comes with the holiday season, what could be more magical than visiting Santa Claus at his home—the North Pole? This is the unique experience that about thirty children from Uashat mak Mani-Utenam and Sept-Îles were able to enjoy during a PAL Airlines flight.
After being welcomed at the check-in counters by volunteer elves and enjoying breakfast in the airport’s food court, the travelers boarded an aircraft chartered especially for the occasion. Upon arrival, Santa Claus appeared on board to give each child a gift from their wish list. 🎁
The thirty children who had the privilege of taking part in this extraordinary expedition were selected by the Fondation l’Envol-Maison de la famille, the Indigenous New Pathways Foundation, as well as through a contest organized by Arsenal Media and the regional newspaper Ma Côte Nord.
QIO is proud to have contributed to the purchase of the gifts, helping make this day even more magical. ✨
