The Community Caring Committee’s mandate is to:

Evaluate the different stages of project development in order to identify the impacts and understand the scope of each;

Provide a space for discussion and information sharing regarding the conditions, concerns, and effects of the Project on local communities and the surrounding environment; and

Assist Quebec Iron Ore in developing mitigation measures for the Project’s key impacts on local communities and the environment, ensuring that these measures are appropriate and adequately address the needs of affected communities.
An engaged Committee helps Quebec Iron Ore understand the Project’s impact on the region and its communities and contributes to addressing identified issues in a concrete and effective manner, when necessary.
